Serac International was established in March 2001 in South Africa with the objective of providing a range of superior tasting beverages for international markets and has been further expanded to provide a wide range of trading services to compliment the manufacturing and licensing operations. As part of this development, Serac has established internationally licensed franchises for the manufacture of a range of ready-to-drink products in 32 countries in Africa, America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East; serving markets with populations of 400 million people around the world.
PARTNERSHIP WITH DEEBEE COMPANY LIMITED
The Serac system offers Deebee Company LTD a complete turnkey operation and support, from the establishment of the manufacturing operation to the providing of the branded packaging. To this end:

Serac has entered into a license arrangement with Deebee Company Limited

A protected territory (in this case, Nigeria) has been granted to Deebee Company Limited.

Serac supplies all the machinery required for the operation, including the filling line, water purification plant etc.

Serac International will install and commission the entire ZOOM factory, and provide certificated training to Deebee staff.

Deebee Company Ltd will purchase all pouches, formulation, concentrates, etc from Serac in order to maintain international uniformity of taste and appearance.

Deebee Company Limited will also purchase some locally available raw and packaging materials from sources within the country.

In keeping with efforts to achieve competitive pricing, Serac will continually be using its purchasing leverage to acquire the best prices and pass the benefits on to Deebee and other franchisees.

around the world, will afford Deebee the opportunity to exchange views and contribute experience within a larger network than would be available within Nigeria only.
